Take a look at our Moon

Mare Humorum (Sea Of Moisture) is located in the Southwestern portion of the Moon just to the south of Oceanus Procellarum. This region is an ancient impact crater that has been filled in with lava, hence the smooth crater floor. Just to the northeast of this image (out of view) was the landing site of Apollo 12 and 14 at Mare Cognitum and Fra Mauro  highlands respectively.
